About Assistant Principal Morgenweck
Steve Morgenweck, is proud to serve as the Assistant Principal of Bennett School.
With a passion for student-centered learning, Steve champions engagement both inside and outside the classroom, ensuring that each student's journey is filled with curiosity and growth. Embracing a collaborative leadership style, he works closely with our staff, providing the resources and support necessary to deliver an exceptional educational experience. Additionally, Steve prioritizes building strong bonds with Bennett families, valuing their role as active partners in their children's academic development.
Steve is a veteran educator, having served as a middle school principal for eleven years before moving to the elementary level and joining the administrative team of the TPS. Prior to that, he taught 6th-grade math, science, and social studies. Steve lives in Rehoboth with his wife Shane, who has been an elementary school teacher in Pawtucket, RI for over 20 years. He has two daughters. Mackenzie attends Roger Williams University and Zoe is a student at Bridgewater State. In his free time, Steve enjoys being with his family, traveling, playing golf, and camping.
